Creative design event in the paper mill

12. March 2018

Well over 100 creative individuals assembled at the MCBWmeetsMB #Symposium in the Gmund Paper Mill on Saturday, March 10, 2018. The Miesbach District was the creative event’s partner region for the second time. What could be more logical than to stage this symposium in Upper Bavaria’s creative center, i.e. the Gmund Paper Mill? The guests included Bavaria’s Minister for Economic Affairs Ilse Aigner and County Commissioner Wolfgang Rzehak.

Christoph Böninger moderated the event, which focused on two questions, which were discussed and illuminated in lectures and workshops: What role do creative individuals play for the region? And how can creativity develop optimally in the countryside?

The symposium made it quite clear that being creative is a less a matter of location than it is a question of mindset. The participants developed the first exciting starting points, which are intended to encourage creativity in the district and to lastingly promote the region.
