Green is the colour of renewal

Presenting the colour green

"It's not easy being green" – music experts might know Kermit's touching and very optimistic song, 'Being Green', from the early '70s. Kermit's ballad is associated with identity or individuality and is a celebration of diversity in colour and race.

Originally performed by Jim Henson himself as Kermit, it has been covered by great artists such as Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles and Van Morrison. The tune concludes with wisdom, "green is the colour of Spring" and "can be big like the ocean, or important like a mountain". And according to colour psychology, green is the colour of renewal, growth and harmony.
