The play of colors green and blue

A blend of colours called teal

Teal is a dark variant derived from the cyan colour range. It reflects the transition of green to blue. In past times, teal has been described as blue-green or sea green. The colour teal held a particular attraction in the 1930s Art Deco period, with its roots reaching back to Ancient Greece. The shapes of Greek temples and the colour of the turquoise coloured sea were captured and continued.
