Three new Gmund Colors paper collections

Gmund Colors Food, Gmund Colors Heavy, Gmund Colors Volume

12. September 2018

The successful Gmund Colors collection brings three new members to the market in 2018: Gmund Colors Food, Gmund Colors Heavy, and Gmund Colors Volume are now available.

Gmund Colors Food:
Eye appeal makes foods more appetizing. And eye appeal is equally essential for the packages that contain groceries. Gmund Colors Food is the perfect material for manufacturing cartons, bags or boxes to contain a diverse variety of foodstuffs. With twelve colors and two surfaces taken directly from the Gmund Colors system, Gmund Colors Food is produced in compliance with the European Union’s regulation 1935/2004 for products that come into direct contact with foodstuffs. From offset through silkscreen to hot-foil embossing, this paper offers many options in all standard grammatures.

Gmund Colors Heavy:
All 48 authentic Gmund Colors Matt hues double the pleasure of Gmund Colors because this weighty paper is pre-laminated. Whether for displays at trade fairs or for packaging of every variety, Gmund Colors Heavy is impressive thanks to its pure materiality and stability. We recommend minimalist graphic design. Available in grammatures from 480 to 700 g/m2, Gmund Colors Heavy is suitable for all standard printing techniques.

Gmund Colors Volume:
A core of sturdy corrugated board is encased in high-quality Gmund Colors paper: that’s Gmund Colors Volume. With a matte surface of handmade paper, this unique multicomponent material combines a very sensitive surface and an extremely stable core. Gmund Colors Volume is available in all 48 authentic Gmund Colors Matt hues. Because of its volume and thickness, this paper can only be processed flat. It is suitable for letterpress (flat / flat), silkscreen, stamping (flat / flat) or handlettering.
