To the eye of the beholder, Zebras blend into the background of a heat hazed grassland with help of their black and white stripes. Across the world, the majority of information is kept in black and white. Reading is facilitated by high contrasts. And this not only applies to printed information. Likewise in the digital world all-important texts are set in black on white.
